71. The Man Who Learned to Walk Three Times (Peter Kavanagh)

This Canadian author, Peter Kavanagh, described his experiences learning to walk three times in a poignant memoir including his life in braces, with shoe lifts, with crutches and canes and even in a body cast.  He perseveres, learning to walk on 3 separate occasions despite pain, challenges with his leg length and multiple, painful surgeries.  This is an interesting memoir which I have described in the previous blog post after meeting him at the Grimsby Author series last week.
