Bell Let’s Talk Day 2017

screen-shot-2017-01-25-at-8-24-49-pmIt is Bell Let’s Talk Day which promotes awareness of the importance of talking about mental health.  It is an unseen illness that affects many Canadians!

There are many great books examining mental health.  CBC has shared a great list of 12 books including The Medicine Walk by Richard Wagamese (any of you that follow my blog regularly will know it was my favourite book of 2015) and 13 Ways of Looking at a Fat Girl  by Mona Awad (which is a terrific book which was part of the 2015 Scotiabank Giller Prize shortlist).  I also have the books by Romeo Dallaire and Clara Hughes on my TBR shelf!

Click here a few more choices from my own bookshelf.

Please share because for every text, call, tweet and Instagram post, Facebook video view and use of Snapchat geofilter, Bell will contribute 5 ¢ more to mental health initiatives. So let’s work together to create a stigma-free Canada!
