Remembrance Day 2015

Poppy

In honour of Remembrance Day and those who fought for freedom, I am posting a few historical fiction choices to help us remember the importance and impact of the brave soldiers who fought and gave their lives for our freedom (please note that other than Anthony Doerr, all these selections have been written by Canadian authors!):

All the Light We Cannot See (Doerr)

Somewhere in France (Robson)

After the War is Over (Robson)

Three Day Road (Boyden)

Making Bombs for Hitler (Forchuk-Skrypuch)

Stolen Child (Forchuk-Skrypuch)
